Li'l Angels Footloose
We just knew from the beginning Footloose was going to be a star. He was an exceptional foal. Below are some photos around the farm and at the State Fair.

At six months

Footloose won his weanling class at six months of age at the Texas State Fair, 2006...and won Junior Reserve Champion

At one year
After beginning his show career at the Texas State Fair and winning 1st place weanlings, and Jr. Reserve Champion, Footloose found his way into the heart of a wonderful lady in England named Julie Boyce. In England he will serve as a herdsire, and will be shown. After being in quarantine for 30 days, he finally boarded the plane in his little crate. Below are photos of his journey.

Such a large plane for a little donkey!

Can you see the little window in the crate way up high? That's where he is!

The shuttle carrying the crate.

Meeting his new mom!

Love at first sight!

Everyone joining in the welcome!
Below are some photos of Footloose's first show in England where he won....Best Yearling, Best Condition and Turn Out, and Champion Miniature Donkey.

Update....Footloose won second in his class at the big All Donkey Championship show. He had to show against standard donkeys! He was the highest scoring miniature at the show, under three judges. Congratulations Footloose, and Julie!
