The
first time I saw Pride he was two weeks old, and I tried to buy him
from Ida Bess, but she said she was keeping him. Then, when he was
about a year old I saw him and tried again . At the age of two, she
finally relented and let me bring him home. We are very proud to own
him. Now, time has passed, and we have several of his offspring.
Pride is proving himself to be a very consistant producer of excellent
quality. His foals have been small, extremely stocky, and they all
have super legs. One thing I have always admired about Pride is how
stocky he is, but so well defined. He is not coarse at all, but has
very heavy bone. So far, his foals are the same. They are a very
impressive group.
In addition to his obvious good looks, Pride is a real gentleman and
loves being around people. We are really impressed with his
willingness and sweet, gentle nature. I clipped him just a few days
after his arrival, and he seemed to enjoy the attention so much he
didn't have much concern for the clippers at all, even though it was
his first clip EVER!
Pride won Champion Jack and Best of Breed at the 2008 San Antonio
Stock Show. Being his first time out we expected him to be a little
nervous, but he seemed to enjoy the whole thing! He has continued a
very successful show career.
Pride is a rich red color and stands 31½" tall.

I knew
the day Full Moon was born he would be a favorite with me. He was
a long awaited dream come true from our select breeding program
where we had hoped to combine the outstanding performance qualities
of Randy Travis with the halter qualities and overall balance we
seek for our halter donkeys.
Everyday I look forward to visiting with Full Moon because of his
wonderful personality, and working with him is an absolute dream. I
have never worked with an animal so intelligent and willing; he has
such a great mind!
Full Moon has repeatedly proven himself in the show ring in both
halter and performance. He began his show career by winning 1st place
Two-Year Old Jacks and Junior Champion at the 2007 Texas State
Championship Show. He also won 1st Place Two-Year Old Jack
and 2007 ADMS National Champion Jack and then went on that same year to win
1st place Two-Year Old Jacks and TAMU Model Champion Donkey.
Some of
his performance wins include 2007 San Antonio Pre-Green Champion,
2007 TAMU Pre-Green Champion and State Fair of Texas Reserve Pre-Green
Champion. Then he really outdid himself by winning GCDMA Year-End
Champion in Halter AND Performance...just what he was bred to do! He
has since then gone on to win several more halter and performance
titles including 2008 Versatility Champion at the Texas Shoot Out.
In addition to his own wins he has also won multiple awards for his
parents. In 2008 at the NMDA National Show, he and two brothers (Li'l
Angels Boston Mac and Li'l Angels Colonel Travis) won Supreme
Champion Sire for their dad, Cobra's Randy Travis (see below). He has
also won several Produce of Dam titles for his mother, Murial's Fun Farm
Blaze.
Full Moon is a beautiful silver gray color and stands 32" tall. He has the *masked
spotting factor that means he can produce spots.

We
have always wanted a spotted jack, but it's so hard to find the right
pedigree, the right color pattern, excellent conformation, great
disposition and the small size we look for.... all in the same package.
How fortunate we are to have all that with Indiana Jones. Starting
with his gorgeous little head, and perfect bite, then working through
his outstanding conformation and beautiful spot pattern. There is just
nothing more to want. He is perfect. Add a sweet personality and he
is over the top.
Many people have asked to purchase Indiana Jones and everyone who
has seen him has fallen in love with him. He is so adorable, you just
can't help but fall in love with him. With his small size (currently
30") and excellent conformation, we are sure he will produce the kind
of foals we can be proud of, whether they have spots or not!
Moreover, he is an absolute joy to have on the farm.

During
our long search for the perfect spotted jack, we stumbled across
Randy Travis. At first we weren't sure if he was going to be the
one we were looking for, but then we saw him move, and we knew he
was something very special. I don't think I've ever seen a more powerful
miniature donkey, and certainly not a better mover. We suddenly both
knew he was what we wanted in a performance herdsire. If he passed
on his color, all the better, but we would be satisfied with a few
offspring that moved like him.
We brought him home, and bred him to four jennets that year, hoping
for just one that would move like him. Our very first foal sired by
him was Full Moon (see above). We would have been happy to just stop
there. Full Moon possesed all the halter qualities we look for in our
show stock, and yes, he was an exceptional mover as well. We felt we
had hit the jackpot.
That first foal crop was so exceptional that we bred a few more
jennets to Randy. The next foal crop all had gorgeous heads, perfectly
straight legs and the most trainable dispositions we have yet to
encounter in other bloodlines. Again, we were extremely pleased.
Randy has an exceptional show record, including 2000 ACOSA National
Champion and Supreme Champion Sire 2008 NMDA Nationals. His
three winning offspring were Li'l
Angels Full Moon, LI'l Angels Boston
Mac, and Li'l Angels Colonel Travis. His current foals are also very
nice, and we hope for many more in the future.
